I, and many others of the western world, live in a hugely digitally dominant century.
And I think that social-networking is possibly the greatest part of this "techno culture".
I also personally agree that it can become a feed and support unit for addiction eg. bebo, myspace.

the sudden concern over pedophilia by parents largely stems from FEAR being politically pushed in the media as so monetarily choosen.
With power comes responsibilty blah blah blah...
Sure we all have to maintain a degree of sensibilty just to survive each day, but lets not grow paranoid.
The blogosphere can be a very happy place =)
